Tips for Moving Your Next Event to a Virtual Format

Because of shelter-in-place orders, the American Concrete Institute (ACI) moved it's spring convention from an in-person event expected to be attended by more than 2,400 people in Rosemont, Ill. to a virtual format in a mere 17 days. Despite the short notice, they managed to hold 179 online meetings during the week-long event, which was attended by 1, 474 people for a total of 344 hours of meeting time! That is nearly 430,000 person-minutes in meetings.
